I plan to travel to the US in the month of May on a H1B, i just applied for my passport today and it mentions ECR as Yes.

What would be the implications of ECR=Y for working in the US?

Would there be additional delays etc?

No impact on US travel . That has impact only if you want to work in a few gulf and asian countries
