H4 visa spouse's employer letter format

Hi,

I am currently working in India. There is a requirement for employed H4 visa applicants to get a letter from his/her employer. I was wondering if any of you have a sample letter format. My husband is in india and i am only going there for a vacation.

Dependents

Your dependents should bring all required documents for any nonimmigrant visa, plus:

An original marriage (for your spouse) and/or birth certificate (for unmarried children under 21), as applicable
A letter from your spouse's employer confirming his or her continued employment
If your spouse is currently working in the United States on an H1-B visa, his/her pay slips for the current calendar year and federal tax returns (IRS Form 1040 and W-2s) for all the years in which he/she has been employed in the United States on the H-1B visa

No such letter is needed from H4's employer. The mentioned letter applies to the H1 spouse.

This is a new requirement. please see the url from my first post. I have heard about cases where the VO asked for letters from spouse's employer. Basically they are looking for reasons to screw us.

Again no such thing is required. Spouse means H1 spouse.

Dependent applies for H4 Visa. Dependent is working for company X in their home country. Letter from X is not needed.
Principal (spouse) is working for company Y in H1 status, letter from Y is advisable.

Does that make sense?
