H1B - Recapturing Time

Hi everyone,

I am trying to recapture unused H1B time. On January 31st 2009, I lost my job due to economic conditions in the USA. The next four months time, I stayed in the USA and kept searching for further opportunities. It took almost four and half months (till June 2009) to land on the next job.

Can these four months be recaptured?
