H-1B Transfer question

I am currently working for Employer A

Got a new contract and Employer B is filing a new petition(Some People refer as transfer)

My Question is when can I start working for Employer B ?
As soon as LCA approved ? OR when I get a receipt date for new petition ? OR once petition is approved ?

I am not sure, Please help

You can start working after new employer receives the receipt. If the petition gets denied and if your previous employer does not take you back, you will be considered out of status and you will need to leave the US. But if petition gets approved, you will be fine. If start working after approval there is no problem.

Is there any website I can refer to see the general/expected timeline of events ?
