I am in US with waiver h4 visa status.But once I go back to India will I eligible for h4 visa.

What is waiver H4?

The speciality of waiver visa is that once I left U.S my visa will be invalid.So Once go back to my country I will have to apply for a new visa

Never heard of a waiver H4 Visa. Who gets it, under what conditions?
Are you sure you are not confusing something else and calling it a waiver Visa?

When I got back my passport after applying for H4 visa,the visa status which was stamped in it was H1B instead of H4.But my husband and I noticed that only after reaching U.S.So we had to go to the customs and on the "benefit of doubt" they issued a waiver for me.With this visa status if I am leaving U.S,for example if I am going for a tour to Canada my visa will be invalid.I will have to go back my country and get the visa stamped again.So what I asked was will there be any problem in initiating me the H4 again.

This should not affect your future H4 Visa application. Does the I-94 that they gave you reflect H4 status?

They cut the visa page in my passport and stapled a new form and in that it is written as H4.
