Hello, I am currently on H1B status with Employer "A" until 5/31/2013. The new employer, Employer "B" filed a new H1B petition for me with the start date of 6/1/2013. Unfortunately, I do need to work until the last day of the current H1B at Employer "A", and these employers are in different states. Fortunately, it is possible to start working for Employer "B" remotely.
Given the situation and the distance I need to move, I was thinking of packing up early June and moving by mid-June to the area where Employer "B" is. I am wondering if this causes any problems. If it does cause problems, what requirements do I need to meet on 6/1/2013? Do you have any ideas for me to meet those requirements in my situation?
Obviously, there is no reason to take any unnecessary risks regarding immigration, so I plan to do what is the safest and would love to hear your advice. Thank you in advance!
