H-1 B Visa

hi all,

My Fiancee works in India and her employer has filed for her H-1B..but the Name in the Application is different from that on the Passport in the sense that the first name, last name and middle name have been interchanged...there are no spelling mistakes but just the order has been changed..

how does this effect the H-1B application..has anyone had a similar experience..

Hi,
I think you should get it rectified, while it is possible. Otherwise, the consular officers will not hesitate to send the applicant back to correct the passport according to the name in the H1b approval, and therby delaying issuance of visa. It is better anyway to have the correct name on all the documents.
