Travel Outside of US During H1 Transfer

Hi, I am working for company A on H1B and company B filed a H1 transfer just today and we are waiting for the receipt. I need to go out of US two weeks later during the process and I will quit my current company after I get back to US. My visa stamp is still valid for a year and a half. In this situation is it safe for me to travel outside? What do I need to have when I get back to US? I am worried about this and I need some assistance. Any advice would be appreciated.

This should be no problem. As long as you are still employed with either employee A or B when you return.
