    Mumbai Visa Appointment Dates

    I need to get my H1 stamped from Mumbai. The waiting period currently being shown for Mumbai is 70 days. So if I take an appointment today it should somewhere around 25th October. But when I actually try to take an appointment the earliest date available for selection is November 23!!! Does anybody know why? Is there a reason behind this?
