Can i go to Canada to stamp my H1?

Hello All,
I have an approved H1 and I have not been out of the country since I got it approved. I want to know if I can go to Canada to get the visa stamped. I am getting contradictory answers from people. So any help you provide will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You will get only contradictory answers because for some the stamping at the border goes on smoothly, and for others there is a lot of difficulty. What I will suggest, go with a mind-set to accept a refusal. That way you will not be shocked even if refused.
I hope you know that to continue working while you are in the US, you do not have to get your passport stamped mandatorily. You will be in status if you have the valid approval and change of status docs. (in case you have changed status)
