My h1-b expires in may - 20th.

If i do not receive receipt from uscis, can i legally stay in u.s.a. After 20th may ?

Is it premium processing or normal? When did you apply it?
It is not legal to stay after your visa expires. its a gray area and you know between you and US consulate, consulate always wins.

If the receipt date falls before your I-94 expiry, you can stay. Otherwise you must leave.
