Cant apply for visa appointment now?

Hi,

I got my petition receipt number and other information about my H1B petition.
When I tried entering the details and book a date, I could not find a open slot in chennai consulate. I am using www.ttsvisas.com.

All slots till end of jan 2006 is filled. Feb 2006 is not yet opened.

I am tring to book for a slot but in vain. Whenever I login to the site and check the availability status, I could not find a slot. I am confused and dont know what to do?

The only way out is to keep on trying. In another few days, they will open slots for February 2006. So make use of the opportunity. These days they have even taken away the provision to request for emergency appointment. While making a new appointment in the penultimate step you will be asked if it is an emergency appointment and whether you qualify the criteria mentioned therein. Only if your answer is yes, you will be given an emergency appointment.
