Decision time after RFE

My husband is busy transferring to a new company. There was an RFE and the attorneys have responded accordingly, what I want to know is do USCIS generally take the full amount of time they have to make the decision? We filed PP, so that gives them 15 days. I know there is no way to know for sure but just want to get an idea from others who have been through this.

Just heard today the transfer was approved!
