Travelling out of country when H1 is under process

Hi,



I am currently in H4 and have applied for my H1b this year and got my receipt notice.

I need to travel out of US for a month in June and will return back By July.



I spoke with my employer regarding this and they told I can travel and once I am back into the US, I need to apply for a COS.



Can you please let me know the chances if my H1b can get approved when I am out of US? If yes, what should I do?



I have applied for normal processing ,regular quota.



Please advise.
