Hello all,
I am doing my second Masters in US and have been enrolled in college from Jan 2013, I got my H1 approved and is effective OCT 1st. I need to travel to India for an occasion. I have couple of doubts here.
1. I want to travel to India in june and come back by july 1st. In this case will it affect my H1 Change of status if i return in F1 visa ? ( I did search a lot on leap frog principle but could not come to any conclusion)
2. My visa expires on july16th which is with my first school though the SEVIS is already transferred. I already spoke to CBP officials and they confirmed this is enough for re-entry. Just to confirm, Did someone went through the same process before ?
Could you guys please advice on this.
