Book Interview without I-797

I applied first time for H-1B.
My case is still pending with USCIS
My question is, can i book an interview date in Mumbai?
If yes, please tell me the procedure of the same.

Hi,
There will be a column in which you will have to fill in the expiry date of your H1b petition. How do you propose to do that if your petition is not approved?

see, new applications will start w.e.f. Oct 01, 2005. It means that it will expire on Sept 30, 2008. I'll write the same date

If you are confident that your petition would be approved for 3 years, you can go ahead.
