  • H1B Transfer and Stamping

    Hi,

I had two H1Bs approved for last year..Initially i got it from US Employer but later my indian MNC where I am working, also filed for me. Now I have got visa stamping from my Indian Employer but he is not sending me to US.

Now I want to go from my US Employer. So for that, Do I need to get stamped again or can I travel to US with my stamping done from Indian Employer.

My fear is that when we stamping is from Indian Employer and on visa, company name is mentioned, will it be ok at the port of entry to show them I-797 and I-129 for US employer when my stamping is from Indian Employer?

    Please suggest!!

    Thanks,
    Nisha

If your Current visa stamped on your passport is still valid, You can travel before the expiry date. But make sure to have your current original approved petition as it might be useful at POE
