Change in ownership & name of the company

Hi all,

I have my H1 approved but not stamped yet. Meanwhile my company was acquired by another company. The legal name of my company is changed. I was wondering how do I inform this to USCIS.

I was planning for india Visit to get my visa stamped and would like to avoid any confusion because of this.

Any related information or experience is really appreciated.

Hi,
Just take a copy of the legal document which evidences the change of name for the interview. If not get a letter from the authority concerned on the company's letterhead that the name of the company has been changed.

can you please share your experience. did getting the legal documents help u to get the visa stamped or did u have to do anything else
