Visa Approved but Administrative Processig with no 221g

Hi ,
I had appeared for the Visa interview on 24th may 2013 at chennai US consulate.
The VO officer said the Visa is approved (221g was not issued) but when i tried to check my visa status it shows "Administrative Processing".

Is there anyone who faced the same scenario.
How should i proceed further / what should be done to over come this status ?

Cold anyone please help ?

we are in same boat as well,my wife had interview on may 4th in HYD; VO said your visa approved.After that we did not get the passport for one week,when we check the status online it says "ADMIN Processing".It is been 20 days nothing has changed..


Please reply us if anyone had same situation...

I am in a similar situation. Consular officer said that h1b visa is approved and kept my passport. However, when I check the status online, it says: "Administrative processing" for 2 weeks now. Can anyone help.

Admin Processing from March21st 2013--Hyd consulate

I am also waiting from March 21st 2013 to clear the admin processing.Till now there is no update.
