in status?

if graduation takes place in may and one attends new school from august onwards without travelling outside the usa, is that considered being out of status? the transfer takes place during orientation sessions in the 1st week of augst usually . since there is a 60 day grace period. in this case, it becomes more than 60 days. pls help...

updte... my transcript and degree certifcate show august as the graduation date. iwas registered for 0 credis MS project during summer. transfer took place in the first week of aug itself.

in ds-157 i have already mentioned in my edu qualifications, that i graduated in may instead of august.. cud that create a problem.?
