Changing jobs while wifes H4 extension in progress(RFE)

Hi

My H1 was extended in Febrauray for 3 years. My wife and kid travelled to USA in May. Their H4 was valid till July end(based on my old H1 duration).

My company applied for their H4 extension and an RFE was receieved. I submitted the required documents and we are waiting for updates.

My question is If I change a Job in July, what will happen to their H4 application. Also since there is an RFE, will it be an issue.

Should I go for a job change now.

If I can change job, what steps should i take to avoid any issues for them?

When the new employer files their petition, your dependents can also file I-539's. It will be better if they do it before their current I-94's expire.
