I attended H1B Visa interview today. During the interview process the Consular officer did more digging on the Sponsoring company’s in house project and salary payments. He was having doubts on the company’s genuinety. Finally he provided me with two options either to withdraw the petition or it would land in denial.
To be on safe side, I accepted for withdrawing my H1B visa application.
Note: This is the first time I am applying for H1B.
Now I have the following queries:
1. I am thinking of reverting my decision so that it will go in RFE or AP. Please let me know if I can call/send mail to the consulate stating my decision to cancel my earlier request of withdrawal of H1B application. Will it be considered.
2. If not considered, will my H1B petition will also be withdrawn by USCIS.
3. If other company is willing to do H1B transfer, can I use the same petition to have the amendment.
4. Will I be considered H1B cap exempted.
