Job change after booking a H1b stamping appointment

Hi,

I changed my job after booking the H1b appointment, i.e., I have the old company information on DS 160. Now do I have to fill out a new DS 160 for the appointment? I don't see any place to update it on the site. BTW my H1b has already been transferred to the new company.

Any help is appreciated.

Submit a new DS 160 and contact the Visa servicing agency to get your appointment changed.

Why is there a need to change the appointment date?

Not necessarily the date, but since you used the old DS 160 to book the appointment, the appointment should reflect the correct DS 160 that you really want to use.
