-Laid off on 31 May; H1B expiring on Aug 31 (first 3 years); employer revoked H1B

-Applied for B2 visa on 6 June; got RFE – deadline is Aug 27

-Applied for H1B with new employer on 26 July; got RFE – deadline is Nov 1


Questions:

What are my chances of H1B approval? If H1B gets denied, then chances of B2 approval? What are other options to stay here legally if both gets denied?

If approved H1B is likely to be approved without I-94 (without change/extension of status). So you will have to leave the US and return.
