trip to other country with H1b extension

Hello every one I'm from India working in H1B visa in US
I just got my visa extension
Im now planning to go to ThAiland for tourism perspective and come back to USA
I have few questions
1. Can I able to travel to other country with extension papers
2. Can I get Thailand visa without any issues
3. Can I able to come back to USA straight from Thailand with just the extension papers
Is these possible or I definitely need to go to India and get my visa stamped
Please clarify
