H4 desperate - Starting a nonprofit??

Hi,

I am a H4 visa holder and I am trying to figure out if I can start a nonprofit project (website) accepting donations that I would re-invest in the organization itself.
Later on I would consider turning the nonprofit into an e-business either changing my visa status or moving back to Europe and continuing the project there.

Would this work? Can a H4 holder start a nonprofit project provided that neither would he/she result as an employee nor would he/she employ anyone?
I would basically only run a website and result as its founder, and would accept donations for the cause re-investing them.

Thanks for any help, I have been googleing this for hours and haven't found an answer yet...

You can't really do that as you are trying to build company while you can't work so that it would be valuable when you can work.

Ok, thanks...I thought an H4 would at least be able to run a nonprofit, I guess we will just move back to Europe much sooner than planned then

Just because a company would not make profit now or will make later does not make it a non-profit company.
