  • Fear of H1 cancellation

I have my valid H1 stamping till 2016. I haven't traveled to US till date. Now I want to change my employer. I have received a new job and my new employer is ready for my H1 transfer and send me to US. But I fear about a possibility that my transfer petition might get rejected since I never traveled to US, and the visa officer might even cancel the H1 visa which I am currently holding. That would then be a huge loss for me and I might even lose my job if my current company come to know about it..!!!!

Plz help me on this topic. Whether my fear is valid!!! Guys plz help..

    Thanks in advance....

    Fear of H1 cancellation

Your fear is absolutely unnecessary. You can initiate the H1 transfer with your new employer in premium (15 days) and resign your existing company once it is approved. Your company would never come to know until you let them know about it.

You can travel using the current stamped
Visa (with your old company name on it.) and the new approved petition.

That's what I did when I came over here.

    This is my opinion.
