Hello, I am new to this forum and please do help mewith my situationa , I am sure we cannot do much about this but please share your experience or any piece of ***. that can help.
My situation:
I and my husband went for H1 stamping on Jun3 4 th at Chennai consulate , we have been in US for almost 6 years but as I never got stamping on my H1 I had to go for it (was in US on J1 and then got approval on H1)
My visa(H1) was issued right away , but the offices said that my husbsnd's case needs extra admin process was send to counter 31, an Indian lady asked few questions related to his siblings (don't know why, I always thought US considers you as an individual ) and gave a pink slip and siad it would probably take 4 to 8 weeks but then as we know no time limits.
It has already been over 2 months and the case is still penidng we called the call center and emailed them with "60 days elapsed" in the subject bar of email, but same reply, still in process.
My concern is that I am in US and my daughter is in India wiht my husband and I am very upset , I am sure some of you are in the same boat, I wonder why we all cannot talk to somebody about this and try to help ourselves instead of just talking to each other .
