Transfer H4 to H1

Hello, I'm very pleased to find this forum.

At present,my status in USA is F1 visa and I got OPT after graduation for 1yr. The expiration date of OPT is close but, I didn't find my sponsor for H1 visa yet. So, I plan to apply H4 and later want to transfer from H4 to H1.

My question is that
Is it possible that I transfer from H4 to H1? I heard that in the H4 visa status, I could not get working permit. I'm wondering if the transfer will be no problem once I get job offer in the H4 status.

You can always change your status from H4 to H1, but you need to be in USA and with valid I-94.
