I am working in company through consultancy in America .My name is supriya sharma.
1)
My h1b approval has got surname by mistake and its now
supriya sharma .
surname Rajan was not suppose to be present .
2 ) my passport has no last name .
Given name on passport is supriya sharma .with last name empty .
3) visa ,ssn ,I94 has supriya (first name) sharma (last name ).
My employer will not pass amendment for h1b name change since he don't want me to have correct my name and change the job .he is not even giving me pay stubs .thinking I might leave have h1 transfer.
I am going to have request for split name for passport which will make my
Supriya ( first name ) sharma ( last name ).this will then match my name on visa and ssn.
Please help me guys out .am in mess right now .i want to transfer my h1b but I fear my surname rajan on h1b is not getting matched with name pattern on ssn,visa,i94.can the second employer who wants to transfer my h1n can request for name change amendment along with h1b
