Can I travel with my I 94 extension pending?

Hi All

My H1-B visa is going to expire in 30th Sep 2013. I have applied for I-94 extension and the same is pending USCIS approval.

Planning for a trip to vegas, los angeles during end of november. Can I travel during this period or I can't?
