I am currently on a H1B visa and we are relocating since husband has gotten a new job and I am planning to move to H4 visa. My husband's employer is applying for my husband's H1B transfer and my H4 visa together. His application is going to be premium processing but the universities visa processing center is saying that my approval will also come along with his approval. Is that true?
But my main question/concern is - the visa is applied with 1oct as the effective date. And I was planning on working till 15th oct. Is it legal for me to work till middle of october when my H4 visa will be approved from 1st oct.
