L1 5 years completed, got new H1

Hi,
i have completed my L1 stay 5 years in US this month and returned to india 2 weeks back.

i also applied for H1 through a different employer and it got approved.Please help me on below query.

1) i am not yet received my approved documents from my employer, any idea possibility for getting H1 validity ? is it 1 year only?

2) if i am not utilize my current new H1 and waited another 12 months in india and apply for new H1 again? do i get fresh H1 with 6 years cap?

3) any impact due to if i am not utilizing current H1 for future Visa stamping ?
