Hi,
My H1B petition approved last year 2012.But never went for stamping.This year now my employer applying extension for that petition as premium process due to some emergency requirement.I have the following questions.Kindly calrify

1.How long it will take for the petition to be approved,provided that it's a premium process
2.What are all the questions can be expected from consulate officer when I go for stamping since the petition previould applied was never used.
3.What are all the questions ususally they ask for H1 visa stamping.

Hello, Sudha.

In Premium Processing, you should have it ready within 3-4 weeks.

The Visa Officer will ask you about your work, your education, Nature of Business of your company, Your salary.

They might ask you about reasons for not having the stamping done earlier. This is a non-issue, ok. You could say the client's need changed and i was no longer required to go. You have a good case.
