Hello.
I'm currently working in h1b status and found a new employer and want to change jobs using the portability provision. i have an attorney represent me, but he is it not very helpful. 3 questions, will there be a problem if the net income of my hiring company is very low?
the attorney sasy we'll have to also file form I-824, why would that be, does it make sense, is that correct?
I obviously have to stay with my old employer until my paperwork is filed, is it possible to stay until new visa is granted and should it be denied, could i just try and stay with my current employer, would he know, or would i just be out of status?
