H1-B stamping issue

Hi all,
My employer applied and got H1-B visa petition for me. I have to go to India to get H1-B stamped. My permanent address is in Jaipur (Rajasthan); so I am in Northern(Delhi) jone. Can I go to Mumbai consulate to get my visa stamped? Do I have to give them any special reason?

Hi,
The Mumbai consulate does not accept applications out of region. You have to go Delhi.
