H1B Transfer - from India

Hello Friends,

I seek your expert opinion,

1 year back i got H1b Approved from a Consultancy in USA, never travelled to USA before, one IT company has approached me recently and they
say that they can transfer my H1B while i am here in India, is this possible?
will there be any problems at Port of entry when i travel.

Yes. Your visa can be transferred - while you are in India. The first petition was filed when you were in India, correct? So, the transfer can also happen while you are in India.

How long is your visa valid for? If you are within the valid date on the visa, you can travel on the old stamp. Carry the new employer's I797 while travelling, you will have to show this at the Port of Entry.
