Cant apply new SSN due to US Shutdown..Please help
Hi,
I came to US on H4 and got H1b this year which is started form Oct 1, 2013. COS effective date is Oct 1st, I can only apply for new SSN from that date (I think). But SSN office is now closed due to shutdown.
- How my employer can generate my pay slip without my SSN? I know if they havent generate my pay slip then I will be out of status.
-What other options I have? Please advise.
