I am scheduling a visa appointment for my fiancee (H4) and would like to schedule the biometric appointment (at OFC) before she applies mehendi on her hands so that there is no issue with the finger prints. However, doing this would mean the gap between the biometric appointment and visa interview would be 8-9 days. Someone told me that the number of days between the OFC appointment and the visa interview should be no more than 3 days. Is this true?
