I am in L1B -I94 Valid till Oct2014 with Company A. Company B sponsored H1B with CoS and it is approved effective Oct1st 2013 and expires Dec 2015.

What is the grace period for me to continue in L1B with Company A?

Can I transfer H1B to Company C with joining Company B?

Please guide.

Effective 1st October 2013, if your H1B COS is approved, you are on H1B status.

If your COS to H1 was approved from 01-Oct-2013 and you still working with L1 employer then you are out of status.
