H1B transfer to another employer while current H1B approval is in process

Hi All

I joined Company A last year in October 2012 on approved H1b . The company got taken over by another company B so they started my Visa Transfer to Company B mean while they started processing my payroll from Company A to Company B . So I am working on payroll of Company B while the H1b Transfer to Company B is in Progress . Now I have got a good offer from another Company C who is ready to transfer my H1B .

My question is - Can I use Company A approved Petition to transfer to Company C since my Company B visa is in progress ? I believe the H1b from Company A got invalidated the moment my payroll started with Company B .

I feel, along with Company A's petition, Company B's transfer acknowledgement and pay stubs would be required. If you submit all these, it should do the trick. Personal Opinion.
