I got my H1B approval recently in October 2013 and i am going to be working during Nov and Dec.
I am pregnant and my due date is Jan 15th. I am planning to take leave from Jan 1st till March end. I want to maintain my H1B status and do not want to transfer to H4 visa. My employer is not willing to contribute towards the disability leave (FMLA). I do not mind loss of pay.
Can someone let me know what are my options?
What type of leave i can take?
