Apart for H1b options

Hi,

If an employer offers me a job are there any other options apart from H1b.

Because H1b has a limited quota.

I would like to know if I can work in USA based on other work authorization schemes.

There are also 'L' and 'O' Visas. For short work trips, 'B1' Visa could be used.

L is intercompany transfer and B1 is kind of holidays or visitor.

I would like to have long term work authorization which would be equivalent or close to H1b.

It seems only O is the option for me.

O is really for outstanding ability persons (Nobel prize/Booker prize winners etc.)
