Indian citizen on H1, married Ukrainian citizen in US after H1B petition approval...

...and we're now planning to get our H1B VISAs stamped together in Canada. Do I need to

1.) Register our marriage on my Indian passport through the Indian Consulate?
2.) Have my H1B documents modified to show "Married" before I schedule an appointment for H1B stamping?
