H4 & parents visitors visa.

Hi,

My current H1 is valid till 1/16/2014 and applied for renewal last month for which I got the approval but the new 797 is valid from 1/16/2014 through 2017. Could anyone clarify the following.

1. I would like to apply H4 visa for my wife. If I take the visa appointment in Dec'13 will she get the approval based on old 797 or new 797 or shall I take the appointment after 1/16/2014.

2. Can I apply visitors visa to my parents along with my wife's H4 visa.

1. Appointment should be bease on new I797. And advisable travel only after 16-Jan-2014.
2. Technically possible, but their B2 will be granted on its own merits.
