Hi, Currently I am working on L1-B Visa on long term.My Visa expires in Dec-2014
I would like to apply for H1-B Visa in 2014.
1) May I know when the H1 process starts? and by what time frame I know the status(approve/rejection) of my H1 petition?
2) I wanna file the H1 through outside consultancy. In this case, may I know whether the consultancy sponsers H1 for me?
3) Also, after H1 filing if I suppose to go back to India (before my petition approval) then what about my H1 application? Is it still valid and chance of getting approval?
How my consultancy will take such case?
4) What happens if I need to leave USA after my H1 petition approval? Is it still valid to go for stamping in India?
5) May I know when exactly the USCIS release H1 approvals? After H1 application approval what is the procedure and how long I need to wait to convert to H1?
6) what is H1 consular processing and H1 COS? Any difference?
I am really confused with all these.
Can anybody please help me in answering my questions?
