Hi,
Following is my scenario. Any kind of feedback is appreciated.
My H1B visa has expired on my passport (Oct 2013). This was my 6th year (2 stampings complete in Chennai). My employer has already applied for my Green card and is in processing . In the mean time I have my I-797 for my extension until Oct 2016. I will be going to Chennai in Feb 2014 for stamping.
Q1) Will I have to prepare differently for the Visa interview in Chennai since this is my 3rd stamping?
Q2) My India residence address has changed....Can i leave it the same or should I change it in my passport?.......before the Visa interview in Feb 2014.
Q3) Can I come back to US and then update my india passport address?
Q4) Assuming everything goes well ...can I just collect my passport after stamping...in another city (Cochin) since I will be travelling.
Q5) I also plan to do the same for my wife (H4) visa. Will I have any issues.
