DS160 question for H4 application

Hello all,

Can some one tell me what filed should I be filling in DS 160 under National identification Number , tax payer ID fields. I have an ITIN number and my status is H4.
Is ITIN and tax payer Id one and the same ?

I don't pay taxes as i am on H4 and not working so field should I be filling up in my DS160.
National Identification Number : can ITIN be called as national identification number ? or is the state ID suppose to be this ?
SSN : sine on h4 not eligible
Tax payer ID: is ITIN a tax payer ID , even thou i pay no taxes and my husband files taxes jointly ?

Please advice.

National ID - Select Not applicable
Tax ID - Enter ITIN (it is not a big deal)
