H1B recapture while on B2

So my H1B has some time left on it, which my employer is filing to recapture. I was working in Canada but I came to the US on a B2 to visit family. Is there any issue with me staying on B2 for a few weeks in the US in terms of the application for the H1B recapture? Will it raise a flag at USCIS that I was in the US on a B2?

You can't really capture the time you were physically in the US on B2 visa.

Thanks for the reply. I am not trying to recapture my B2 time. My H1B officially expired in October. I spent a couple months outside the US but came back on B2 to visit family. All I'm trying to do is recapture the time I didn't use on my H1b when it was valid by filling an amendment.
