COS is approved ...waiting for the final hard copy of mail..

Guys,

In my case i just did cos for h4 to h1.. the uscis sent below email

"

....approved the following
I-129 Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker
that had been filed under the Premium Processing Service:

Receipt Number: .....
Petitioner: .....

Beneficiary: .....
DOB: .....
Classification: H1B
Starting Validity Date: .....
Ending Validity Date: .....
Consulate notified (if applicable):
I-94 # (if applicable): .....

The form I-797 Approval Notice will follow in the mail.

"
I have only 1 question as i am very anxious (can not wait for the hard copy of the mail) ... do i suppose to get a "fresh" i94 # in this email ? Can some pls share their experience on this ?

You should get new I-94 date. Whether it comes in separate paper or part of I-797, it does not matter.

SO from the notice in the email what you could make out ? is the amendment gone through ?

Basically the i94 number with the new dates is same as the h4 visa ... and the dates are the H1 .. I was curious if they give new i94 number of use the same (of h4)

Oh i just noticed, the valid from date has changed !
